Lead Mobile Canning Line Operator

Location: London based, operating throughout the UK.
Compensation: Full-time, competitive hourly wage

Them that Can is a mobile canning company that will package products for some of the UK’s top craft breweries, is seeking interest from a dependable, hardworking individual to operate a mobile, fully-automated canning line and manage a small crew.

Responsibilities:
All aspects of operating a beer packaging line, including:

– Mastering the ins and outs of operating a Wild Goose 250 canning line
– Troubleshooting beer conditions and mechanical problems
– Extensive cleaning and sanitizing of the equipment
– Prepping the van with supplies prior to canning runs
– Enforcing quality control, efficiency, and accurate statistical tracking
– Working closely with brewery owners, head brewers, and all brewery staff

Requirements:

– A full, clean driving licence.
– You have previous brewery or packaging experience.
– You enjoy working with your hands and have the mechanical skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment on site.

– You already know that long, irregular hours are commonplace in the beer industry.
– Traveling daily to breweries and beverage producers throughout the UK sounds like a great perk to you.
– You’re also well versed on beer volume calculations and production brewery equipment.

Assistant Mobile Canning Line Operator

Them that Can is a mobile canning company that will package products for some of the UK’s top craft breweries and we are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to assist on canning runs.

Responsibilities:
As an assistant operator, you’ll serve an important support role for the lead canning line operator. Tasks include:

– Unloading and setting up equipment in the morning, as well as breaking down and packing up at day’s end
– Mixing sanitizing chemicals
– Weighing filled cans to ensure they contain just the right amount of beer
– Working the de-palletizer to provide the canning line with a steady supply of cans throughout the day
